"South of Town" Pop Up Dinner



What an amazing feast we had!

This five course meal that toured throughout the American South was a rare treat to find in this most northwesterly town. Grounded with locally sourced ingredients, we were able to do justice to those well loved dishes.

This may have been my favorite pop-up yet.

Our Menu:

Louisiana Buttermilk Biscuits


Blushing Angel Eggs with Preserved Lemon and Toasted Fennel Seed


Broccoli Rabe with Collard Greens, Caramelized Onions, and Bacon Jam


Southern Salad with Black Eyed Peas, Cornbread Croutons, and Buttermilk Dressing


Moonlight Farm’s Spare Ribs with Apricot Honey Barbeque Sauce and Grits


Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream with Rosemary Oatmeal Cookie, Candied Pecans, and Sweet Tea Drizzle
