Dalla Notte and Boomfest presents...

Ever wonder how the Rhody Festival's bed races started? Or maybe the Kiddie Parade? The Pet Parade? The whole damn festival in general? Well, I don't know, either.
But if I was to venture a guess, I would say they started a little bit like the NEWEST Rhody Fest event has begun: with a lot of excitement and the incredible ability of a few people to say the word, "Yes".

Yes, Dalla Notte has joined forces with Daniel Milholland and Boomfest Presents to give you, Jefferson County and Washington State at large, the Cake Picnic
Dalla Notte and a team of volunteers plan to bake and serve 1,500 slices of delicious hand built cake immediately following the Grand Parade, May 18th.

This is an event meant to use the energy of the Grand Parade by bringing together the town at a centralized location to celebrate not as a spectator, but as a participant! We shall gather at the Pope Marine Park on the water.

Have your cake and eat it too, we say!

The Cake Picnic is seeking donations to help produce this event from both business and citizen. Please join us May 18th at approximately 4:30 (town time) to eat cake and celebrate Port Townsend together.

Our test cakes!
